A Pointed Pen Experiment

THIS IS A CLASS TAUGHT OVER ZOOM
In this class, we will experiment with the pointed pen to determine what we can make it do.
Analyze an alphabet to reproduce it by hand.
Take inspiration from fonts to use the pen moves you discovered.
SUPPLIES TO HAVE WITH YOU:
1/8 inch grid c-thru ruler or similar
1/8 graph paper
Your preferred paper for pointed pen (HP Premium, Canson Pro Layout Marker, Borden and Riley Layout Bond)
Pencil (You may find colored pencils helpful)
Your preferred flexible pointed nib
Your preferred holder (you may want to try straight and oblique)
Your preferred writing fluid
Writing fluid management (paper towel, rinse water, spill tray, etc.)
Not necessary but you may find helpful:
Lightboard
Tracing Paper
BRING THE HANDOUTS !

print both sets of June handouts to use at this meeting.
You will need the handouts to participate.
